Does any body know what virus it is when Windows looses all the file associations. I've tried reassociations through file type but they keep getting deleted. It affects all .reg, .exe and .lnk files. I can't run them unless I open a file in them e.g. I can open .txt files in notepad if i click on the text file but notepad…

Could somebody put up the exported reg files for the file extensions named above. Bloody broadband!
