Dont use the Netopia!!!! Seriously dodgy build make everything, waaaayyyyyyy better off spending a little bit of cash on a Lynksys(it is Cisco after all) or a netgear. Ya can get then very cheap too...

netgear are awful, stay away! Linksys are ok, personally I would stick with Cisco.

I have a 2600 Cisco router but I think it would be a bit of an overkill for this network.
I was going to just use the netopia because it is free and if there are problems then just change it for a Lynksys.
What about the topology though - those that all seem fine in the diagram?
