What guitars do these guitarists usually play?
Jeff hanneman - Slayer
James Hetfield - Metallica
Phil Demmel - Machine Head
Tom Morello - Rage against the Machine
Chuck - Death

Hanneman and Hetfield use esp's as far as i know, and i think Tom Morello uses Ibenez but i could be mistaken

Morello uses a lot of Teles and Les Pauls afaik...

Hetfield uses ESP Explorers and Les Pauls, some Vs and that custom made Explorer with the natural finish

Jeff Hanneman uses an ESP signature
James Hetfield uses ESP custom explorers and fovors his Ken Lawerence explorer
Phil Demmel uses various Jackson flying v's but used an ESP baritone to record most of TTAOE
Tom Morello once used Peavy but now uses aa custom Fender strat and tele

jeff uses his own esp signiture guitar but he then puts in a khaler bridge.
james hetfield plays the old more gibson esque ESP explorers, a gibson les paul which he got nicely done in a custom shop and for the heavyer drop tuned songs he uses an esp "F" series or forest barritone guitar.
Phil demmel uses various esp flying v's
All the above artists also use EMG 81 pickups

Tom morello uses a cheap ass mexian tele and a custom made ibanez guitar, as far as i know with the ibanez he reversed the polaritys on the pickups or something so thats how he does his wierd pickup switchy solos.He also uses some sort of hollowbody guitar for songs lke gueirilla radion(no i dont know how to spell), i think its a gibson not sure though

Dont have a clue bout chuck from deth though, been meaning to check em out but havent had the time.
