    Help please.

I got those from my wife for CHRISTMAS and still have not used it like i should. to be hounest i have no idea what i am doing with it. I have loaded the music onto it and i have to say it is fairly good with that, no shuffle which is a bit tideous, but it is capable of storing dvd and movies.
Well it states it can store dvd's and movies but you have to encrypt it to mp4.

now here is the problem, i like gadgets, i love messing with things but when it comes to reformatting things then i am a complete disaster.

Help me get this thing working, I actually love the present but i have not used it since i got it and my wife is kicking herself cause she thinks i hate it.

Any assistence will be smiled upon.

I have no experience with that device but I can help you when it comes to MP4.

MP4 is essentially an Apple QuickTime video and it's the format of choice for Sony's PSP.

If you have AVI (DivX, Xvid), WMV and other video formats that you want to use, there's a handy free utility that will convert to MP4 easily, called 3GP Converter. It's available here:

    http://www.nurs.or.jp/%7Ecalcium/3gpp/

Note that my link is Japanese - scroll down the page until you see "3GP_Converter031.zip" and click on it to download.

There's a guide on converting to MP4 for the PSP on Engadget and it's quite good - it's available here:

    http://www.engadget.com/entry/1234000980024404/

You'll need to make some adjustments for your player resolution wise, etc, but the basics should be the same (you could even convert using the PSP settings first and then see how it looks on your device).
