Ok peeps here is my dilema.

I have been using a seimens fujitsu for the last 14 months or so and the blasted thing seems to have packed up. I was using it one afternoon, on the battery, and left it to one side. When i returned to it a couple of hours later it gave the impression of being out of power. I plugged it in and there was no sign of life. Left it there for a couple of hours and still nothing.
I have used the same charger on another siemens and it is working ok.

Now i know that all indicators point to the internal charging unit but maybe it could be something worse like a battery problem.

Any one got anyideas on what is wrong and worst of all how much.

    many thanks

    nanook

Not too sure but I've read that if a Li-Ion battery discharges completely that it won't let current flow through it at all....try taking out the battery and see if it'll run from the mains only; that will determine if the internal charging unit is at fault.

If the battery's dead then I suppose it's time for new one....
