Your local Community Centre, local pub. There are loads of clubs in Dublin city. Look up in Dublin Council Libraries.

Don't really like clubs, don't think they are for socialising at all. Most you can't even hear the person you're with talk without shouting, same with some pubs.

Okies. Try Cafe life then. You wont get shouting here. CK2 in Jervis Street, near Capel street end. Or try internet cafes. These are good too for meeting new friends over coffee ect

Join your local gym, great way to meet people and get fit at the same time. :)

Try maybefriends.com Pity you have to pay for it though. They're always advertising it so if you're that desperate it might be fun.

Well eh if i was in a place and i knew nobody

    I would,
Talk to people i work with about social interests etc. Ask them where people of similar interests to yourself tend to reside!!

Talk to local people, keep an eye out for posters and billboards of things that interest you etc.

I would also go to a relatively chilled out bar and hang out there.
But these things seem to happen anyway-Just go with the flow of your own life trying to make it a more social flow.

I believe a lot of gangs are recruiting these days.

OP- any ideas yourself, where do you plan to begin??
