Hey, naturally enough I'm proud of my photos! But, I hope this isn't blurring my vision... I think my photos are good! But could you please leave a few comments about my photos? Negative points are more than welcome! It's all a learning curve, right?

The common way of getting comments on deviantart is to go off and comment on other people's things. (That's not to say you only comment to get comments back, 'cause that's bad and such...) However if I find time from my hectic schedule of listening to music I may comment. Possibly. Depends on how demanding the music is.

Oh, I think I said it the wrong way! I wanted people to comment in this thread about the photos! :)

I was using a shitty 35mm Olympus, well it wasn't that bad. But very, very cheap.

    Hi Rojo

I really like the one of the little girl with the mountain scene behind her. The colours are great.

I think the others all have potential but are maybe a little bit busy. They all have objects of interest in them but could be cropped a little bit tighter (IMHO).

Looks like a nice place to visit.

Heh, comedy animal pics, you can't beat 'em :)
Love the one with the single llama, you can almost hear him thinking "Wassat? Has he got food??"

Don't worry about what you were using to take them, you captured some of the kids very well, although as was said above, cropping could be closer, but that's nothing.

    Cheers,

    B.

Yeah the girl one in front of the mountain is a winner. From her pose to the background going from green to brown to white to blue. Fantastic.
The building ones are just average (slanted horizon and the like). Tourist pics if you like!
The one with the kids in front of the wall should be cropped at the end of the wall.

Oh and it's a film camera right? As the full size pics look noisy, I'm taking it's the scanning of 'em in?

Thanks for the great comments everyone! :D

Well, I actually didn't scan them myself, when I got the photographs developed I had them put on CD too! So, I'm not sure what the story is there!

    Hey, Jennifer,

Would you be able to direct me to a site to learn about cropping and maybe the technical side of photography, like, iso and such?

I'm 16, so haven't really had a chance to learn about it yet.
