Just opposite the staircase on HMV Henry St is a table with a ton of crappy Sale CDs and Videos. Also part of the table are tons and tons of Gamecube games on sale. Mostly rotten, but even I couldn't resist Jeremy McGrath Motocross for €1.99

For when Game do a 4 games trade in offer again 8)

Was in hmv today all the cheap games are gone only 12.99 ones left.

Game and gamestop do them deals all the time but you have to pretty much be trading in 4 fairly recent games as they have to be worth a certain ammount. Game did wave the price thing a few months back and took anything for a week or two, then sold them all off for as cheap as a fiver dont know what they where playing at but doubt they will do it again.

Hope the sale goes on for a while. It would be my bloody luck to miss out on these nice cheap deals. I'll take a trip in on monday and redeem some old christmas vouchers. Any idea how long the sale will be on for folks?

Something tells me this is not true? And anyway, bought about 12 movies in the sale :) Good one, but - they have series of old BSG cheap, then new series 1 at almost 80 still :(

Good one, but - they have series of old BSG cheap,
Assuming prices are in line with HMV in the UK where the original BSG is £24.99 in the sale then play.com are still a few quid cheaper direct to the door. Also cheaper for Secretary (the barebones Prism edition), €5.99 in HMV on sale, £2.99 from play.

I picked up a few things in the 3 for 30 offer that I couldn't have picked up cheaper elsewhere but HMV have this nice habit of having sale prices promoted to death that are still more expensive than elsewhere.

I've known about their 50% of closing down sale since last week but couldn't find anything of interest (mainly cus I'm lazy and can't be arsed looking) went in literally only ten mins ago (in a net cafe here) and picked up Season 7 Of Star Trek: Voyager for 55 Euro. Score tbh (stupid Russian Firefox wont let me print the Euro symbol.

As well as picking up the Family Guy boxset for €10, the best of the Sugarhill Gang & Grandmaster Flash was a pittance at €7.99!
