Ram Warranty?

Was trying to work out what was wrong with a comp. Pretty sure its the ram. There are 2x512mb sticks and a few hundred errors when mem test is running. Does anyone know if these lifetime warranties cover such errors? Or is that down to the person at fault. The machine was built from components bought off net.

What brand are they?

Try the singually to discover if its only one.
