Saturday premiership coverage

Hi

Can any of you guys recommend a good package to view the Saturday matches.
I understand : Art Card (Supersport), Nova and DigitalAlb or Canal+ may do the job.

Does anyone have any experience with these packages. They are proper valid Subs.

Is the commentary in English?
Does the digalb have anything else worth while on the card?

I have seen the valid cards being sold in WhatSat. They seem much chepaer than the Art cards. Although I understand that the pre-paid Art cards are more popular over here

The Football commentary is not in english.
Also on card, movie channels,childern channels,Explorer channels,Adult.
most of the movie channels are in english.
Its on eutelsat 16 east

AFAIK, ART is no longer with English commentary. Can anyone confirm this?

I have had Art for the last 2 years and also have my 2 cards for next season. Yes the comm is in english for most of the games and yes there were problems with the eng comm at the back end of last season but it was only Art Sport 2. Art imho is by far the best coverage around. For the last couple of weeks towards the end of last season, they had 3 matches live @3pm on Saturdays. They also coverage all the PPV games as well as all of the live Sky games.

I think its time for me to take the plunge into this also. Would any half decent satellite dealer set me up or would a subscription to ART be regarded as bit out of the ordinary?

Depending on where you go for an ART card (think there could be a shortage this year due to new selling requirements of them) some may try and fleece you.

Ok here is some information about Art sport.

The package contains 5 sports channels and a few other arab channels. They tend to show 2 to 3 games live on sat afternoons with an english comm feed. They also show 8 CL games 4 on tues and 4 ond weds. Along with these games they show all PPV and Sky live games and also some midweek games.

This package is available on 13e(hotbird) and an official card and a viaccess cam or embedded receiver is required. The cards are sold as 6 month and 3 month cards. Once the card is put into the cam/receiver the 6 months counts down from that time.

As was pointed out earlier the costs of the cards vary depending on where you buy from. As there are changes to the way the cards are activated planned from next month onwards. This is going to have a hugh impact on the prices of the cards. They are introducing a simuliar system to sky with regards to a telephone call activation from the home country required. This has not been 100% confirmed as of yet though.
The current prices are between 115 and 150 sterling for a 6 month card.

One more minor detail which has yet to be ironed out, is whether or not Art will actually be showing Premiership football on the hotbird satellite. There was alot of speculation on this matter at the begining of last season aswell and it all turned out to be bull, but unfortunately this rumour has surfaced again this year. I will keep you all informed as I get more information.

I have a supplier on mainland europe who sorts me out with my few cards for the last couple of years. Once I get confirmation about next season I will be ordering some and I can order some more if needs be.

if you can get the french channels 'TPS' ..they cover a hell of a lot of prem. games also
