yeah apparently one of the ticking machines went down and they are therefore runnign at 505 ( read that on the portal/forum a few days ago). The 2nd machine prob died the other day as well under the increased load.

you'll notice you suddenly got 100 million of each resource out of no-where, everybody got it. the idea is everybody spends lots of money, builds lots of ships and has lots of fights while they set up the next round
