    Hi all, I need help,
There's a few of us going to Dublin on Monday to the U2 concert. Im driving and i don't particulary want to drive into the city centre. So we said we'd chance the Luas. As far as i know isn't there a car park at the red cow? If so, which Luas line do i take, and will it bring me to Croke park?

    Please help anyone.....

You'll have to get off at Abbey Street and walk up to Croker. The tram won't leave you there.

Is it not going all the way to Connolly? That would be handier no?

So i get on at the red cow and get off at Connelly?? How much are the tickets and where do we get them?

You get the tickets from the machines on the platforms.

They used to have signs up at Smithfield to say that that was where you got off for Croker.

I haven't looked at a map, but it might well be handier than Connolly or Abbey Street.

If the crowds on the Luas for last weekend's Dublin match were anything to go by then I'd make sure to get there nice and early so that you can get onto the damn thing.
It was wedged tigher than a g-string in a fat girls arse last weekend.

Get off at connolly and then it should be a 15min walk to Croke park, maybe longer cos of crowds....

The most important fact is the last (offical) scheduled tram out of Connolly for Tallaght is 00:30, they have explict permission for 24hr operation that is at the descretion of Connex (who run the service) so they could run later but they have said nothing so far

Well U2 are finshed up at 11 so that should be plenty of time to get one of the trams.

Luas have posted a notice for U2 concert-goers. The last tram leaves Connolly at 1.10 am each concert night.

I'm going to the monday night gig. Anyone know how long it would take to walk from Stephens Green Luas to Croker? Have to work Monday unfortunately and want to get there for about 6ish.

    Thanks for any replies!

You can always hop off the luas at connolly and hop onto the Arrow which will bring you upto Drumcondra station which is less than 5min walk away from Croker.

Sorry to go off topic, but does anyone know if Dublin Bus nightlinks are running Monday night? No info on their website about it...

Thanks guys. But, it would appear no Nitelink Sun to Wed nights on the 15n route.

It probably overlaps with another service - 49n?

The signs were put up at Smithfield for St Patricks day because they were using Smithfield as the last stop in the am because of the parade in town the signs were for ppl goin to the club finals

All Nitelink routes were operating last night and just as well given the crowds returning to the city centre after the superb concert in Croker!

    Ya the gig was brilliant!

Got off at Connolly and it was only around the corner to Croker! Thanks all!

The Luas driver we got on the way back was gas!

He tram was jammed, so he told us all to wave to everyone at the next stop, and he said he'd even open the doors for a laugh! Very funny! One girl even managed to sneak pon when he stopped!

And he told us all not to fart! :D
