    Hi,
I bought a €200 meteor holiday voucher a couple of months ago but I have just looked at the thing now and the holiday has to be booked before June 30th. Im not organised yet at all so I was wondering if anyone here is on the verge of booking a package holiday would they be interested in buying this off me?

I will sell it for €50, saving the buyer €150. Its good for all the major package holiday companys (Budget, Falcon, Panorama etc etc) - only thing is that you have to book before the 30th. (thats book, not go on the actual holiday.. just book it).

    cheers.

    - Choose package holiday from any Irish Licensed Tour Operator brochure
    - Must be for minimum of 7 nights and for 2 adults
    - All holidays must be booked by June 30th

Thats it really, the rest is just stuff like: Must be over 18 years of age, cannot use in conjunction with other offers, can only use one voucher at a time and all that kinda obvious stuff...

    I paid €200

No you didn't... why would you do that?

You got it as a freebie, from maybe taking a test drive in a renault or some promotional activity like that.

Just for your information (and anyone else that is interested), the cost to a company offering this promotion is not €200, it is something like €10-€12, depending on how many they purchase.

So, the voucher isn't worth anything like €200

Culchie - Are you ****ing blind, or just thick?

Where did you get that quote from?
You quoted me, but then wrote in your own text...

Anyway - I didnt ever say I paid €200 (why would anyone swap €200 cash for a €200 voucher? that doesnt make any sense ) I said I bought it, which I did, on boards.ie in the For Sale section.
Just as the poster the other poster above did.
I paid €50 for it, you can search the For Sale - General forum and you'll find the thread.

As for the "cost to a company offering this promotion" - what the hell does that have to do with anything?
A €200 holiday voucher is worth exactly that to somebody to who booking a package holiday - €200. Unfortunately I am not as organised by now as I predicted I would be when I bought it a couple of months ago when I bought it, which is why Im offering it to somebody else that might be in a better position to use it, for the same price that I got it for...

Please dont be put off by this obvious moron.

    " Saving the buyer €150...." eh ...?

    How charitable of you

Lets be generous, you were economical with the truth .... and BTW, you were 'had' paying €50 for that voucher !! ... They seen you coming big time.

Tick Tock .... 2.5 days to go !!

I never said the voucher wasn't valid, I said it wasn't worth €200.

The voucher entitles you to a discount provided you meet the strict terms and conditions.

My point is to obtain this voucher, you do not need need to part with €200, or even €50 if you knew which promotion or whatever to partake in.

So, there is a big difference.

Yep, thats why most people are asking €150 for them over on the For Sale forum

I'll sum this up with the following two quotes...
