PSF file extension?

I sent a Powerpoint file to someone to change and they sent me back an e-mail with an attachment. The attachment had a .psf file extension. I tried opening it with Notepad, Paint Shop Pro, Acrobat Reader, Powerpoint and Powerpoint presentation but it isn't opening. Any ideas?

All is under control - it was an ArcSoft PhotoStudio file, i had to download a trial version.
