That old Taj Mahal thread seems to have slipped into oblivion... Anyway, did anyone go? I decided to go at the last minute (i found out very late that he was playing) and managed to get a ticket at the door (for that, I suppose i should thank the 20,000 people who went to see Coldplay instead, ho ho). Anyway, did anyone go?

I decided to go at the last minute (i found out very late that he was playing) and managed to get a ticket at the door (for that, I suppose i should thank the 20,000 people who went to see Coldplay instead, ho ho).

The man just blew me away, what a fantastic gig. Such a humble set-up, a trio with little equipment, but what a monster performance!

I am so glad i went, Taj is a legend.

The highlight for me was My Creole Belle!
