Anyone know of any kickboxing / boxing instructors with equipped gyms offering personal lessons in the central Dublin area.

Thanks Divers, I know them. They're a bit pricey at €50 per session.

Prof. George Canning Mu Gen DO kickboxing does privates in xaviers hall on dorset street ( sort of opposite big tree). dont have his number handy.
but drop in sat mons 10 - 1 he is there. not sure waht times during the week.

I trained with George for years and he is good.

also I do private in Thai with Paddy in Bridgestone. well worth giving him a shout, he 'll work the bejaysus out of ya, and thats the way it should be done!

Anyone got recommendations for one-2-one in MMA or even if this is a good way to approach it for someone like myself - novice and 40ish.

I'm afraid the threadmill and bike are just not motivation enough for my cardio training and MMA looks like the ultimate conditioning, so to speak.

If you're a beginner why are you looking for privates? You'll benefit just as much if not even more from a group class.

    For stand up try www.bridgestonemuaythai.com

    For MMA try
    www.twokingsmma.net or www.sbgireland.com

    Peace Out,
    Colm

I'd also recommend Prof. George Cannnig. Mugendo is an excellent system. Although I'm not too sure if he still does one on one/private lessons.

As Millionaire said, just drop in one Sat morning.

I find you learn much quicker with privates. more attention and time from coach to help you get the technique right.

I do both privates for my own skilled development (good to stay ahead of the pack..eh!) and group classes to practice on all shapes and sizes.
