Working in Ballsbridge and looking to arrange a pub crawl for around 20ish people age range for (25 - 50).

We have done treasure hunts and quiz one.

Need a fresh game idea. Drink involved but not completly based on drink as management don't like the completly drink based.

    Help please.

    pub golf.
every drink has a "par" eg a shot of something is 1, a pint is 4, a bottle is 3. This is the number of drinks you must consume it in. If you take less drinks, you get under par, more drinks, over par. In addidtion to this you can nominate certain drinks in certain pubs, so ppl have to drink things they don't like, or take a penalty shot.
Pretty much totally drinks based, but has the name "golf" in it so management may look more favourably on that :)
    enjoy.

We actually came up with that

    Pub Golf Challenge

Teams of 5 persons (to make this work we will need about 20+ people)

Entry Fee €5 (to cover prizes and finger food)

    Course Hole 1 (Par 5) Paddy Cullen's
Hole 2 (Par 4) Old Dubliner
    Hole 3 (Par 5) Searson's
Hole 4 (Par 3) The Waterloo
Hole 5 (Par 4) The Den
    Hole 6 (Par 3) Mary Mac's
    18th Crowe's

All holes must be played. Course Par is 24 strokes. Handicaps may be applied for (maximum 4 strokes).

    Prize giving in Clubhouse (Crowe's).

    Scoring
Pint beer / stout / lager etc. 1 stroke
Short or short with mixer 1 stroke
Glass beer / stout / lager ½ stroke
    Breezer etc. 1 stroke

i.e. if three members of a team have a pint on a par 3, that's a par, if they have 4 pints that's a birdie (1 under) and conversely if they have two pints that's a bogie (1 over).

but they thought it was to drink related

How about a 3-legged pub crawl - you have to tie ppl together like a three legged race. they have to go *everywhere* together.
or a stretcher pub crawl - can't remember if everyone drinks or just the lad on the stretcher.
the very fact that you're looking for a pub crawl makes it drink related... whats their problem??

We are organising it ourselves but looking for cash of the manager.

They don't mind drink but not when it is completely revolved around drink.
