I'm surprised nobody has started a thread yet.

Feel free to use this thread for any Wimbledon discussion, or start your own threads :)

Any predictions for the Men's/Women's titles?

Henman is already struggling, although he was never going to be a serious contender.

Sharapova and Federer are both comfortably through. Haven't seen any of the matches today, but so far so good.

Elena Baltacha for the UK got knocked last night. It was brilliant! The report beforehand went on about how she had an easy run though to the finals. She was rubbish and her opposition ranked 120 (something around that) made few mistakes. Henin was knocked out today 2. The mens title is between Federer , Nadal and maybe Hewitt or Safin. Womens is wide open but maybe Sharapova might do it again. Her grunts annoy the crap outta me. They are trying to get them banned!

I have discovered something wonderful - TG4 has the Irish rights. So you don't have to listen to the waffle that John McEnroe and Andrew Castle were giving it today on the BBC!! At one point they were talking about Liverpool FC and the European football. What? I mean - WHAT? This is TENNIS, lads. There's only two of them out there on the grass, not 22
Right enough, I haven't got any a word of Irish, so they could be talking the same amount of guff, but I can't understand a word, so I can easily tune it out, without missing the umpire giving the scores and the foot fault calls.
    Yippee.

I'd like to see Federer winning it again. And for the women, I thought Henin-Hardenne would have a shot, but she's already out, so it shows what I know. I see Henman pulled it out of the bag. A five setter in the first round for the number 6 seed?! Not good.

Congrats to Venus Williams, on baeting Davenport today. It was soem match, with Williams winning out after over 2hrs 30mins, when she looked dead and buried in the second set. Thank god, she didn't and I can go up the bookies and claim my winnings.
Happy days, great match by the way.
    Williams won 4-6, 7-6, 9-7
