[Wanted] Pair of glasses

Where's the best place to go for this? My glasses broke this morning and I'm totally blind without them. Would normally go to my optician but that normally involves making an appointment and then waiting a week or two to actually get the glasses, and I need a replacement today.

So what are specsavers/vision express like? I'll be going into town at lunch time and I could do with getting an eyetest and getting glasses before the end of the day.

If you know what strength you are, you can buy a pair at tesco.

I've no idea. Not sure I'd trust tesco brand for something as important as glasses either ;)

Specsavers and visionexpress do your glasses for you by the end of the day (as long as they arent to busy) They are good, cheap and offer a 12 month guarantee. Go to vision express in tallaght, they have the lab there, or specsavers end of grafton st

Don't diss the tesco! The glasses are grand but you're right you could mess up your eyesight if you got the wrong strength. Specsavers would be a good option alright
