No good shots, but it looks like a late 70's to mid 80's Chevy K-10 / Silverado type truck.

agree its difficult to get the model without a badge or something like the front grill.

anyone have info on the best place to look for an old pickup?

That's definitely a Chevy/GMC truck from the 70's or early 80's, but I can't be any more specific than that withuot a better view of it.

I suspect it is one of these,
note the gas cap right behind the drivers door handle, not in the bed.
The quarter windor and the mirror locations.
The driprail and the step in the hood detail.

    wheel archs are different :o

Could barely see the top of the truck, lot alone a good view of the body.
also, don't be confused by the truck bed, they come in two basic styles.
"Styleside" aka "Step Side" where the sidewalls are only as wide as the distance between the inside of the wheel arches, with visible external arches.
And Full Size, where the bed is as wide as the outside of the wheels and the arches poke into the floor of the bed.

and there is Dodge that looks very similar, but the raised portion of the hood may be slightly less, ie not as pronounced.

or did you mean the front wheel arches/fenders?
