97 Ford Fiesta couple of probs

    Hi I have a fiesta and some little scanger has broken off the rear wiper completley snapped it. Where would I pick one up. Also the lock for the driver side has siezed lets me lock but cant open it any one any ideas where I would get this sorted.

    Have a look in your local scrapyard I reckon is your best bet.
    I think the door lock thing must be a common fault as I usually see these removed from most Fiestas that are lying in scrapyards.

    Oh, and in case it's not obvious, you can change the door lock mechanism without having to change the lock barrel so you don't have to change your keys. It's a fiddly job changing it, but you don't have to be a mechanic to do it. You just need a bit of patience as it can be a frustrating little job to do.

    I know it sounds obvious, but have you tried WD-40 on the door lock? My wife had a 98 fiesta and the lock on the passanger door started to stick, but WD-40 sorted it out.
