I think that the top up Club was in conjunction with Spar check here by clicking on waterford and it will give you Spar locationsin waterford. This Visa Voucher is a world first and Ireland is leading the way. Although Citibank has a top-up credit card for under 18's in the US where you have to money in the card to buy stuff and you can't borrow or go over the limit like normal credit cards.

Here are the retailers unfortunalty they are all in dublin. This is the cards website

As far as I know it's still on trial. They said they're gonna trial it for 3 months. Don't know how long it's been though. There is a retailer locator on the website but none of the shops there are outside Dublin. Thankfully I live in Dublin and have been using my 3v card for about a month or so now. Damn it's dead handy. If i see something on the internet i want, no more borrowing peoples credit cards and paying them back. And I can't get in to debt either. If i don't have the cash i can't get the voucher. Is it still associated with top up club? cos I've never seen a mention of it on the 3v website or when i registered or anything.

Edit: Damn you netwhizkid getting in just as i was typing and making me look like one of those people who repeats stuff for no good reason lol.

I registered on a monday and it arrived in the post on the wednesday. A friend of mine registed early one morning before going to college and his arrived the following day. Can't guarantee anything but anyone I know has gotten it fairly quickly.

I got mine today after ordering it yesterday. AFAIK, the retailers listed also have cards there but you have to register first.

And Ireland's way behind in terms of financial services for students - the UK has the Solo card for people over 12 - and here you have to be 18 to get a Laser Card.

Topupclub will cancel their loyalty service pretty soon, i got a mail from them stating this yesterday. Think 3V's will still work after this.
