One way is to curl your hair around your finger and then lightly putting the GHD on it. Sounds like it would burn you though...

I think you can make loose ones by wrapping your hair around it and then clamping down the irons.

The instructions that I got with mine said something about using curlers (you know the long thin twisty ones that they use in hairdressers, hope you get what I mean.) Anyway, put them in your hair and then put the ghd on top of it, it should heat and set the curls!

I hope that makes sense....
