Where is the cheapest place to go for driving lessons in dublin. Any special deals or discounts. All input is appreciated.

No point in getting 'cheap' lessons if they are gonna be bad!
go for a DIR registered driver - it will be worth it in the long run

Sorry if tha above title was a tad misleading. My brother is looking for cheap but qualified driving lessons. I went with the rac, paid for 4 lessons and got 2 free. Just hoping someone had something like that or knew of some private DIR registered driving school

I got a course of 5 lessons with a well known nationwide driving school (not RAC) and my instructor cut me a deal to teach me privately for 25 euro an hour. Through the school it was 35 an hour.

The "ISM" i think it is, that give all students a 10% discount. Least its a little off the scandolous E35/hr they charge.

The **** that i got a lessson off, wudnt give me a discount for the fact i was using my own car, or even if i booked 5 in advance, so i told him to fook off. This wasnt with the ISM just to clarify.

My dad runs a driving school in dublin 12. He charges EUR 32 an hour. Fully Qualified DIR Instructor. Look him up in the golden pages. DriveWell is the name.
