Just wanted to point out that the bias showed twarads Kerry in the match yesterday was appalling. Tomás O' Sé should have at least got a yellow card for his punch and as for Cooper, he should have got a red. The umpires and linesmen are probably the worst officials in any sport. Usually a bunch of old fellas who couldn't keep up with the play if it was an over 75's 5-a-side!

I was very surprised at Gooch playing to get a man sent off. That is a soccer tactic and it bugs me when I see it creeping into GAA. To be honest though I do not think it effected the result of the game. Even when Limerick were a few points clear I never really believed they could win the match, and when they pulled level the writing was on the wall.

have to say fair play to gooch he did the right thing i lost count of all the times he was dragged blocked and puched off the ball. The limerick team played an aggressive form of football they should have had more players sent off bring back the sin bin. O'SE deserved to get a yellow.

Its a part of soccer coming into GAA that I don't like at all. At one point yesterday Tyrone were hopping on the ground and lieing down any time they got near the Cavan goals so that they could get an easy free.

Tyrone have been doing that for 2 or 3 years now. They were the first to bring it in as a tactic, but many are copying it.

Even so-called hard men like Kieran McGeeney are at it now. :(

Sorry Johnny I have to disagree. Kerry were every bit as physical as Limerick were in that game. Gooch then deliberate got a man sent off by falling to the ground and dragging a Limerick player on top of him to make it look like a foul. He is too good a player to be resorting to these cheap tactics. Tyrone have been diving now for a few seasons, it is the main reason I can never bringmyself to cheer them on. I am almost always up for the opposition when Tyrone are playing, unless they are playing Meath :) .

    Hear Hear!
Listening to the commentators praise the sun shining out of his rear end all during the match was sickening. Even that incident didn't phase their worship
If the linesman wants to notify the ref of an incident off the ball then he should make sure he has his facts right.

Saying that, I don't think Limerick were ever in with a chance to win, they're seriously lacking any forwards.

Gooch was being wronged all day, His man was taken off after a yellow card and about 3 or 4 other players got switched on him each of which was yellow carded and then that player got red and deserved it. Every time gooch plays he is harrased except the Mayo all ireland, they played nice clean football and were graceful in defeat. Unlike there northern couterparts who only play puke football. Kerry is always wronged by refs and the Munster Final will be no different but True football will prevail and Cork will suffer at the hands of an unstoppable force rolling on towards Croke park in Mid september, For a final i predict with Laois, unless we meets before then and if we do it will be the decider.
    Up the Kingdom !!!!

so what your saying netwhizkid, is that its alright for kerry to play dirty, but not for anyone else, because as far as i am concerned, getting a man sent of the way gooch did, is absolutely disgraceful.

limerick may have played dirty, but you have to fight fire with fire.

You Kerry fans seem to forget about your own physical players. Tomas O Se is constantly looking for a fight in championship matches. His brother Daragh throws in a sneaky elbow now and again. Paul Galvin is nothing but a workhorse who does more spoiling then playing.

Kerry fans would want to have a look a lot closer to home before throwing glances at other teams.
