I went to Mexico the last two nights and now i have a serious hang-over! the first night, i got conscripted to go to some girls party that had few friends. she was so horrible though, that she didnt even turn up to her own party!
lastnight i had to drive accross the boarder in a friends car and i was too drunk to walk! fortunatly customs doesnt really mind unless you look like a terrorist. once again, i woke up in my car in some parking lot.
today was all about tennis, but now im off to the island to meet some girl for drinks on the beach.

jaysus! remember when we were going over? It was 4am, I had an irish passport which had a Dublin stamp as Ireland is the only country where US borders and customs checks you into america BEFORE you get there? I was hammered and tried to explain this and why I went through Atlanta even with a DBL stamp.

We got pulled over and you put on a (bad) italian accent to customs lady.

    Jaysus........

At least we weren't interviewed - you mighta clogged the toilets there and really gotten us into trouble! :D

Friday wasn't too interesting, saturday I went out to my mate's bbq/party, wandered home when it was bright. Got up after a few hours, and threw on my dublin jersey, wandered into town, had a few pints. Went to the match, had a few more pints, then went to a beer garden and collapsed into bed. Still fairly knackered, and a bit lobster-like.

I graduated this friday with massive jetlag and travel tiredness. Still went out on the beer and also on saturday and yesterday. Gonna spend a couple days in recovery......

Friday night - Billy Corgan in the Ambassador, pub.
    Saturday night - pub
Sunday - REM/Moby/Zutons in Ardgillan Castle - FOR FREE! - then home to bed.
    Today - music, jobhunting, music.

Ah, was feeling so real played? I was thinking about going to it, then was knackered after the Dublin game.

worked friday - after about two hours sleep thursday nights. this hot weather and a still wonky post-exam sleeping pattern, it's a no fun combination.

went out friday night, i like going out to places that are a 5 minute walk from home.

saturday, tired and grumpy day - had a pint in the Pav on saturday afternoon. the place was strangely quiet.

sunday, work - but it was so very quiet that i got sent home early, so managed to make it out to the family homestead for Fathers Day lunch which was nice.

I can't remember..but it was a good set. I got "Losing My Religion" on video in its entirety!

Considering I never liked or listened to any of his albums, Moby was excellent, the same applies to the Zutons - I was very impressed (although the lead singer was DRENCHED in sweat by the end of the performance..it was seriously perturbing.).

I love free gigs, especially ones that are only half an hour from my house (yay for slane too, although I'm not even going to bother this year, it'll be a knackerfest).

I was thinking about drugging the water supply with some kind of testosterone/oestrogen blocker mix, to ensure mass infertility, and hence strengthening of the gene pool. It's not genocide or eugenics, it's simply doing the world a favour...

I was working all weekend at Ardgillan doing security. I also met Mel C and had Michael Stipes standing right next to me yesterday for about 10 mins, but he never spoke to me and we're not allowed to initiate conversation or ask for autographs or photos. The rest of the time was spent out in the crowd, at one stage I had to break up a fight, but it was pretty cushy. Got pretty badly sunburned, even though the Order of Malta Ambulance Corps kept me well supplied with sun-block :(
