on new year's eve of last year I was going out to some pub's in town and then head to a night club. when I got into town and rang my girlfriend (who I had been going out with for six months) she told me she was in pub x and I told her I'd be there in a few minutes when me and my friends got to pub x we all went in apart from two of the five of us. the two who didn't get in were underage so we all said we'd head down to pub y down the road. we all got into the place down the road and I went to ring my girlfriend to tell her to come down to pub y but their was no answer on her phone. I tried ringing her about five times but their was no answer. about half an hour later I saw some of her friends and asked them where she was. they told me she was in pub x. so I went up to pub x by myself but couldn't find her anywhere. again I tried ringing her but no answer! I then went down to pub y again and asked her friends are they sure she was in pub x. they said that she was and she was with some fella who was friends with her dad. so I said ok I'm gonna go up and look everywhere in pub x for her. I went to pub x and looked everywhere I tried ringing her but no answer and I couldn't find her anywhere until out of the corner of my eye I spotted her. I grabbed a seat and sat down beside her. I asked her who was the guy and she said oh I don't know. she then went on to say, Mark (I'm not using my real name) you know I love you and everything and you know you mean the world to me and I was like yeah and she said well I'm not ready for a serious relationship I'm too young and all the rest. at first I thought she was joking but then I realised she wasn't. I was totally heart-broken I started crying, went down to pub y and said to the lads that I was going home. I went home and had the worst night of my life ever! we both talked to each other for about three weeks after we broke up. she told me that she was going out with the guy she was with in pub x and I was really upset. after about another week I just said **** it and stopped talikg to her. at this time I was still deeply in love with her. after about a month of not talking to her I was with someone else but that only lasted about two weeks. I thought now I wasn't in love with her anymore and I was pretty happy about this. I've been with more people since but nothing long or special. so has she because my friends have told me she was and everything. we've seen each other out a good few times at night clubs but never said anything to one another. it's now six months after we broke up and the other night I realised that I still think about her an awful lot and I think I'm still in love with her because the other night I realised I missed her so much an I needed her so badly. I want to tell her how I feel and I want to go out with her again but I don't know if I should because I called her some pretty bad names behind her back after we broke up and if I do talk to her it'll be awkward and I really don't want to get heart-broken again so what should I do? please people tell me what you think I should do because right now I'm lost!?!
