    planning to build a new house soon and want to find out what the local telephone exchange will be. Is there somewhere I can find out?

    Address? Every area has a number of exchanges and btw they are usually controled by Eircom

    this site tells you what exchange you are on if you have a phone line.. suppose if you knew any of your neighbours phone nos you could get an idea...

    the line tester on the smart telecom site tells you the exchange you're on
