    Mornin all,

Would BF2 run better if it was installed on a sata drive as opposed to an ide?

    Levels might load slightly faster....
    Thats about it.

Other than that, unless the IDE drive is much older than
the sata one, then the performance will be much the same.

There is no speed difference between IDE and SATA with current drives.

Not sure if there is much speed difference but I swapped out my IDE drive and put it as a slave and put in SATA and I noticed that load times on BFV was better.......not much but abit.....not sure if that would affect BF2 but my load times are great.....better than BFV ever was
