Weird textures in ut2k4

Playing ut2k4 last nite and was getting weird textures on the screen.
In one of the maps there was a line of what looked like ground going right trough the map and i could only see it from various angles.
Another map there was sort of a black triangle coming from the top of the screen down to the cursor i use.
Had the same thing in another map later to.
All i had to do to get rid of it was disconnect and rejoin the game.
Any idea why this could be caused?
It's only a 2 month old gfx card and has good cooling, its a his x800xl so it has an arctic cooler on it and im not overclocking anything on my pc at the moment.

Two things: Screenshots please and have you run ati-tool to check for artifacts?

Moving to tweaking / modding on request....

I have a screen shot but im in work now so post later.
only ran ati tool for about 10mins with no artifact, it was late so ill do it again later when i get home this evening

That brown line should not be in the map
