Having apoker night in the house this evening:
    NL Texas Hold 'em
e50 (3000) with e20 (1500) top up - may take out the top up
Got 16 people coming at the moment may take that up to 24 at a pinch - well have 2 good poker tables and one ropey dinner table.
Have 2 dealers ready to come for the crack too. Should be a laugh.
    Blinds upped every 20minutes. (am looking at 25/50, 50/100, 100/200, 200/400, 400/800 etc...)

trying not to get everyone piut too quick like.... we are first and foremost mates after all!

Any suggestions? Food Drink? Pitfalls and problems encountered? DOes the above game seem reasonable enough for 16-20 people?

    Cheers

    Mark

Have a list of house rules available...
last thing you need is people saying "that makes no sense" or "that's not the rule"

...although sometimes thats half the fun of home games ;)

Yeah have wee things outlining chip values and rules for everyone coming so there shouldn't be a huge problem :)
