    Davey Fitz.

For consistancy [and brilliance] over the last x number of years.

I would have said Davy Fitz a couple of years ago, and out of all the named keepers he probably has the oldest and slowest defence in front of him, so therefore has to work harder. But like his defence he is not getting any younger. I think I would have to go for Mc Garry now, but I have seen more of him then the others over the last year or so.

McGarry? You have to be kidding! He is not a patch on Cummins or Fitzhenry or Fitzgerald. He may have won a few All-Irelands, but he is not the best keeper, which is the simple answer to why he has never got an All-Star. Cummins is probably the best of the only 3 contenders.

    Mullins of Offaly - :D:D:D

Patrick Mullanney of Laois is worth a mention...

It would be either Davy Fitz (for his consistency over the last 13 or so years) or Cummins for his sheer brilliance.

Bit of a toss up between the two if you ask me - any team would be lucky to have either of them.

My vote goes to mcgarry. He's consistently good and rarely makes a mistake.

Dublin for the Liam McCarthy though!!!!!

    Fitzhenry

don't rate Mick Garry at all. Another sourfaced robot in a long line of Kilkenny keepers (Skehan, Michael Walsh etc)

definately, his saves in the Leinster final last year and against cork were just amazing.

wrong Davey Fitz your thinking of :D , id have to go for Cummins myself but could definetly understand people picking Fitzhenry , although anyone who had picked McGarry is clearly biased .

Fitzhenry is the best keeper in the country without a doubt. He has saved wexford on numerous occasions over the last number of years and is also well able to take a penalty!

another great performance from Damien Fitzhenry today.

another mediocre and ineffective (one shot, one goal) performance from Kilkenny's sourfaced robot MICK GARRY

yeah the wexford keeper saved 2 certain goals. i don't think his pucking out or whatever you call them were brilliant.

Very easy today to see why Fitzhenry is in a different class to McGarry.

    won't stop Kilkenny complaining/insisting he's awarded an All-Star

True, but his various medals are more to do with other players on the field, rather than what he does. Cummins, Fitzhenry and Fitzgerald are miles in front of him. Having a Provincial or All-Ireland medal is not a measure of how good you are. It is your performances and those other 3 keepers perform far better than McGarry could ever even hope to.
