Disposing of a CRT Monitor

    Hi,
    I've a large 19in Dell Trinitron that the picture is gone intermittent on and I want to get rid of it.
    Anyone know of how I should go about recycling it?
    Have tried searching here, google & golden pages.

    I see you're in Limerick.

    Every month (I think), Dell have a recycling day in Raheen (its held outdoors in the main company carpark). Just bring along any old hardware (doesn't have to be Dell) and they'll take it off your hands. Thats what I did with my last monitor. Give Dell a ring and see when the next recycling event is.

    Local recycling centre will take it for €5 (i.e. you give them the €5, they don't buy monitors)
