Up in my cousins flat yesterday went to park the car in their private car park says his friend part it beside the mustang!

Went down anyway and there it is a 1969 Mustang kind off dark blue (dark enough car park) covered in dust.

Had some small dents at the front on a chrome strip but other than that, nice I havent seen one since before i moved to ireland 7 years ago.

Was wondering what are they like to run (assuming petrol will not be cheap with a big engine, had 351 on the side) what about insurance and maintenance or in other words is it possible for a 22 year old to live with one?

As you're under 25 you probably won't be able to get a classic insurance policy. You'd need to keep your current car anyway as the classic insurance requires that it not be your main car and restricts mileage. Failing classic insurance you might have some difficulty getting insurance. Somebody on here might know.
Road tax is cheap as it's a classic and it's exempt from NCT.
Maintenance on a '69 Mustang shouldn't be too expensive as parts are easily available from the UK.

If you need someone to look at it, there are lots of guys around here who know their stuff and are happy to help.

    Good Luck
