I'm going for an interview but I have to fill out an application form, I've been asked to talk about three topic's

    Personal Organisation

    People Skills

    and

    Commitment and Flexibilty

The thing is I dont want to mess it up!
Everytime i go to write anything down I Draw a blank!!

I need to get this handed in by Lunch time today. I've been sat over it since last Friday(when i received it)

What are the main things I should put down for those points!

as always, look at some of the links in the stickied threads on interviews etc.

my advice would be to read through the information on some of the links (in fact, i think the interview preperation thread is on the main forum page at the moment)

think about what the adcive is and how it applies to you.

only you can write down things relevant to you. sorry, thats about as much as we can help you.

For personal management they are probably looking for time keeping skills. Do you have to talk about it specifically or talk about your experiences / talents with it?

Well as far as that goes just make sure they don't get the impression that your someone to procrastonate over something. Bring personal deadlines / goals into it. You know... "Oh I set myself a specific amount of time to finish a task" etc.

People skills, are you working with the public? If not then they will probably want to hear "I'm a team player" once agian if its about how you go about these things show how you have helped friends / colleuges previously. If its about things in general perhaps write down how working in a team is more effective.

If its because the job is working with the public put some speel in about to always stay calm and never lose patience with the customer / client no matter how crazy their demands are.

Commitment and flexaility... hrmm is this a call center job ? :)
Well I guess don't write about running away from a job to start college or go travelling. Say how flexable you are (work wise :D) and stuff like that I guess.

Can't really think of anything worth while putting down if its talking about the topic in general.

If a good few people are going for these positions try to get as many keywords down. Chances are they will just scan over them or a computer willl giving you points for specific words / sentences (i.e teamworker, friendly, yada yada etc.)

Thats my take on it anyways :D Good luck with the interview. Make sure to smile and turn off your phone :D

some questions to help you answer:

personal organisation - how do you manage your time, how do you prioritise
tasks, do you multitask, how do keep ahead of a busy schedule, how do you handle deadlines, how would you manaage personal / job commitements, can you give specific examples of the above.

people skills - are you a team player, what kind of team player are you -
do you listen and evaluate, do you like to take a leadership role ? how do you handle conflict, how do you handle motivation of other team members, what are you influencing skills like ? when was the last time you influenced someone ? what does the term leadership mean to you? what do you know about the company culture - why do you think you would fit into that culture
    ?

commitement and flexibility - what is you definition of commitemnmt how commited will you be to the firm ? again how do you manage personal/ work life ? are you willing to travel ? are you willing to do overtime? are you willing to fill in for other people at short notice ? how would you feel having your holdiay plans canceled because company is lauching new product/service ?
how would you respond to co-workers who are not commited ?

    -=oOo=-

hoping the above will get rid of the mental block you have over those three
questions. go over a couple of answers in your head - * be prepared to give specific examples* of everything you say...remember there will always be bull**** questions in every interview....if stuck don't leave silences.... do what Jerry Adams does....answer a question with a question or answer question with a related topic and tag a refereence to the initial question in at the end but do not leave awkard silences....good luck

page, it has nothing to do with luck.

if you look at the link as suggested, they will give you all these questions you can answer yourself. it is simply about preperation and knowing your answers.

the problem is knowing the questions!

read the questions in the links, and you will be fine. i promise. stop panicing!
