Well why don't you sit down and watch it so you can judge for yourself?

Actualy the live programme on E4 can be quite addictive, provided that the sound isnt cut too often or for too long.

I didnt watch BB1 or 2 and only watched BB3 after they split the house into rich and poor.

BB4 was dull and BB5 was way too freaky for my liking. I think they got the mix right this year.

you just have to sit down and watch it really,

You missed a lot by not watching BB2, it was the best so far.

It's people being interested in other people and there's nothing wrong with that.

I don't look at the Big Brother section on boards. I clicked on " New Posts" and saw the question asking why do people like this programme ? Are you suggesting that only devotees of the programme are allowed have an opinion on it or to read other people's opinions ?

Yeah suppose your right, that'll be my exscuse anywho. But the people who go into it, espescially this year are self obsessed-it's a bit pathetic. I find it kind of funny/sad that they think their personality and their being is the most important thing in the world....in that sense they are morons....dont vote out roberto or derek, there my favourites!

i agree ppl are interesting but only if you interact with them directly. i cant sit down and watch it it is just to boring (well the 1-2 minutes ive ever seen of it) its like being at a party of ppl you dont like and your not able to talk to anyone. i suppose it must be interesting to the millions who watch it though.

Are this year's lot not the worst Big Brother contestants ever? Science is the only one I would not mind winning. The rest annoy me too much to even watch it anymore. Interesting too how the housemates are playing up to cameras this year much more than ever before.

I wouldn't watch it live but the hour show on Channel 4 is good.

The best year was when it was mainly on E4 and before the explosion in the numbers of Sky dishes about the place. Plus, as NTL hadn't added that to their lineup yet, it meant that you could goto work/out without "did you see BB last night?".

Admittedly I've watched a bit of it here and there this year and nothing I've seen helps me understand why people are so obsessed with it (tho ok, Saskia is hot! :)) Ironically even the media that promotes these people to celebrity status will forget about them just as quickly as the rest of us once it's over - after all, which of the previous housemates have really managed to stay in the limelight? Who remembers any of them? (except maybe the winners).

I read an article in the paper last year (cause of course you can't get away from BB even if you don't watch it) that had followed up on previous contestants in a "where are they now?" style.. a few managed to get DJ jobs on Radio Nowhere, some made pathetic "do you know who I am?" attempts to get somewhere - like into a nightclub :D - but most of them returned to their normal lives almost immediately.

It's a show for people with no lives of their own.. It's like how The Sims is always top of the games charts.

Get out and live a little people :)

Craig from BB1 made a few appearances on TV, though not many.
Jon Tickle is a co-host on Sky One's Brainiac.
Kate thingy was a co-host on Channel Four's morning programme uhm... can't remember, it was axed. Think she may be on Radio or somethng now. :)

    Dunno about anyone else...
