deutsche post owns DHL or vice versa and dhl are very efficent anytime i've taken delieveries with them

Postpaket can be slow - its just ordinary post. It can take a while - I had something from Switzerland shipped that way and it took a month. An item from Germany took 3 weeks. I'm not sure how it is delivered to you in the end though - my stuff came to work.

Regarding online tracking the number isn't much good - it may be useful if its gets lost but it doesn't provide much info.

DHL is owned by Deutsche Post.

    don't forget GLS.

they somehow seemed to think i don't live in my house anymore and rescan a parcel saying "person doesn't live there anymore" despite the parcel having the correct address and my phone number and mobile number on it ohh and one other thing my house is on one of the main streets of one of the biggest towns in ireland.
