    Someone help me out here....

In the european races, the last one, nurburgring.... how hard is it!!! i must have tried it at least 20-30 times and second nearlly all the time.
Im using a fully tuned M3 csl (just love that car) except for the 3 na tunning so about 400bhp i think.
I have no problem over taking or keeping up with the other cars only they seemed clued to the road where as i can take some mellow high speed bends without loosing control over the car, even happens on a sctraight line sometimes.
Have no problems what so ever with any ot the other races since i got the csl just the ring.
If its really anything like that for real i can understand there have been death on that course.
    Anyone?

    b-spec as in arcade mode?

Where's the fun, you cant tune the cars in that like you can in (lost for words)...... the other mode (you all know what i mean)

no, b-spec is in gran turismo mode. the computer drives the car, and you direct it, eg. tell it to speed up, overtake, pit in etc.

Use a different car, something with AWD or better still MR. Nurinburgring is a course that needs a lot of dedication, and yes thats how the track really is. Pick a 4wheel drive car and one thats heavy too keep it on the track.
-Brakes put them to 18 on the front 16 read
-Sping rate to near the hardest front and rear
    -damper 6 front and rear
-tyres with a 4 degree front camber and 3 degree on the rear
-softest tyres you can afford to put on, if your a dirty driver cheat and use off road tyres.

Lower the suspesion to about 15mm from bottom of the min and eitehr have the F ront and rear the same height or put the rears 5mm higher.

The GT4 version of the Nurburgring Nordscheilfe is the nearest version of the track in any computer game, and because it dates from teh 40's & 50's the suface is uneven and u need to have the car settled into braking zones, if u are braking and turning from high speed the track undualtions will just spit yur car out.

And last but not least learn the track its a 8/9 mins lap and particularly in the last third of the lap u have to lead (set up/shape) yur car well in advance of corners as one leads immediately into teh other.
    Hope that helps.

Done a 8'21 in a stock Nissan 350z-GT4 edition SS tires (power at max, weight max reduced) in arcade.

The version of the Nordschleife in the GTR pc game is newer....

It's an insane track alright...done it in a Ferrari 575 in 7min 52sec after days and days of driving...
