    We are a three piece from Dublin. Myself on guitar. A mate of mine on guitar and another on drums. We have no gigging experience but we want to change that soon! The drummer has only been playing the drums for a few weeks so he's learning.

    The drummer and myself live on the northside of the city around the Raheny area. Hes 22 and Im 22. The other guitarist lives on the southside in Cabinteely. He is 21. We would be looking for someone around the same age but we are not too strict about it. We have had a couple of practice sessions so far in my mates attic in Cabinteely which was a bit of a journey. The next time we reckon it would be easier to have a session in Temple Bar Music Centre. We are booked in for the 2nd of july anyway.

    We have recorded loads of songs and we have a few good ones. There is a good chance we will have a few hours studio time next week to record a song properly, with student engineers. We are not sure on the specifics of that yet. Anyway some of my influences are U2, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Radiohead, The Verve, Soundgarden, Oasis, REM, Nirvana. There are loads more and important ones im forgetting. The drummer lists some influences as Nirvana, Idlewild, GreenDay, Radiohead, Guns n Roses. The other guitarist lists some as blur radiohead supergrass jimi hendrix.

    If anyone is interested just send me a PM.

    Oh by the way, does anyone know about the legal matters of recording a song? Its just we are not sure if we will own the copyright and all that stuff if its recorded for free. The sound engineer students need to record a band for their course. And we will propbably be that band. We wouldnt want any complications later on.

    OK, to copyright your song:

    1. Get it down on .paper or
    .cassette tape or
    .cd

    2. Bung it in an envelope

    3. Send it to yourself via Registed Post

    4. When it arrives
    -> DO NOT open envelope,
    -> store in a cool dry location.

    & Bob's your uncle Betsy's your aunt its copyrighted !
