New Computer

    I just setup a new computer and I cant seem to type out the @ symbol...its doing my head in having to copy and paste all the time.I think it must be set to US standard or something.

    Any ideas..?

    try pressing shift and 2....

    that gives me @ on my comp at home.....

    can't ya just change the keymapping?
    maybe it has swapped with " as mine always does try that...
    oh and try the computer forum :)

    That worked....a bit strange seems as the @ symbol is in the normal spot

    Go into Control Panel, Date Time Language and Regional Options, Regional & Language Options and set it from US to Ireland through there.

    No problem. Don't forget to change your currency to Euro and your currency symbol to € as well. Also, in case you don't know how to bring up the € symbol on your screen, you press ALT-GR and 4.

    I did not know that about the € symbol...you would think with the Euro been a few years old now that all new computers would have it.Maybe Dell no something the EU dont.

    they do have it..its beside 4?
