Media Centre Remote - on Windows 2000?

Hi All, I've got a MCE remote which I'd like to try get working on windows 2000. When I plug in the IR receiver the hardware wizards says a "eHome Infrared Tranceiver" has been plugged in, but doesn't have the drivers so won't install properly. Any ideas if it's possible? Cheers

Have you tried downloading the drivers from the manufacturer's website?

The MCE remote isnt supported for Win2k. Drivers aren't available.
