    Does anyone know any enviromental groups in Ireland willing to take on transition year students for work experience. :confused:

    Haha! try joining the Tidy Towns. Outdoor work, plenty of exercise, 'hands on', studying the areas most affected by pollution, protection of bird's safety by removing plastic beer thingys.

    Ot you could try the department of agriculture. Tough choice there :p

    There has to be loads, try teagasc or Organic Trust.... depends if you wanna spend time looking at plants or you wanna get down and dirty in the bog.....
