Lads, I’m currently looking to upgrade from a GF4 Ti4600 to the XFX GeForce 6600GT 128mb with the imminent release of BF2 in mind. ( or the Club version of the card. http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.asp?sku=307919&cks=PLS )

Was going to buy the one on Komplett and I'm stuck to a budget of no more than €200 http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.asp?sku=305051&cks=SPC

So what you reckon a good buy? There’s also the Gainward on special this week which has 256mb but from a couple of friends of mine past experience with gainward cards im reluctant to go that way.

Your thoughts on this are much appreciated :)

PC advisor recommends the following cards in their budget range
    1. Sapphire Radeon x800 - £165 - comes with a big bundle
    2. MSN NX6600 VTD128e Diamond - £120 - With chronicles of riddick and software
    3. Gainward Ultra/1960PCX GS GLH - £144 - A couple of programmes

So those are the recommended ones by them. 200yoyos is about 1340stg so it may be worth spending those extra pennies on the Radeon with 256mb as it gets lots of good comments everywhere.

Check out the recent thread about the 6800gt for 260 euro, I know you said 200 was the budget but that extra 60 euro would not be wasted getting a much better card.
