    Chums!

I'm looking for some feedback from experts like yourself on this new martial arts store. [LINK REMOVED] - both good and bad. You know what friends are like they sugar coat everything - you guys won't pull your punches!

If you would like to be included in our distribution list for special offers etc either signup on the website or send me an email with your details to [LINK REMOVED]

    Thanks!
    Glenn

Just a question to settle my curiosity: Why describe yourself as a Karate/Kickboxing store and not a TKD store? You have TKD logos all over the site and you sell a lot of TKD stuff so why say "Karate/Kickboxing"? Just curious.

Also I looked at your jigsaw mats (40mm and 20mm thick). Maybe I'm just not spotting it but I can't seem to find the ammount of mats I get for my €50, it just doesn't seem to be mentioned. Surely it's not €50 for one mat, I've seen some rediculous prices before but that would take the biscuit.

    Hey Puck!

    Thanks for the feedback!

I'm playing with Google Adwords at the moment and it appears that Karate and Kickboxing are the most popular searches and get us the most amount of clicks. I have about 4 rolling ads on google as a test at the moment with "I Want Kickboxing gear" "I want Taekwondo gear" - I'll never forget my first martial art the old Lau Gar Kung Fu either! but Karate and Kickboxing are doing the best so far Puck.

As for the Taekwondo stuff, My mate Daragh Oman IV degree ([LINK REMOVED]) and I are loosely affiliated to each other. The top banner may change at a later date but right now I don't have any thoughts on what to change it too.

The Jigsaw mats RRP is GBP44-50 and were selling for EURO 50-55 so believe it or not that is cheap! I've just checked the margins we could sell the 20mm for Euro 40 and the 40mm for Euro50 and still make about 3 Euros profit but thats about it - Puck do you think I would get volume sales if I reduced to that price? If I get bulk orders I can reduce shipping costs quite a bit - the more the better. If you know anyone that might be interested you can contact me on [LINK REMOVED]

    hope that helps.

    Thanks Penfold!

Can you suggest some products? Were getting our stock from bytomic -> [LINK REMOVED] I've asked them for the high runners but nothing back yet.

On the price front........ Think we should let the customers decide the price, and if we can't make it work then we better get out.

Keep your eyes peeled at the new Irish e-bay site.

    later.

Personally I think you should get some cheaper gear. I don't think many people will pay €40 online for a pair of kickbooties when they can get a lesser brand name for €20 in a shop.

    But best of luck!
