The txt number in the UK closed last night - there could be quite a few tickets making there way to ebay I guess is one option. I managed to get a few texts in but I really don't fancy my chances...

I texted in loads of times. Hopefully I'll win one. Unfortunatly the lines closed yesterday, for anyone who wanted to go just to see Pink Floyd.
Has anyone recicieved a text saying they've won yet?

I can see my self blowing a few € on ebay for this one.

Man, I cant belive floyd are on the same stage agian. Im hoping maybe this means a tour is not completly out of the question in the future???

What I would not do to see this gig with THE classic floyd line up :(

They're going to be more than a few € on ebay.... considering the lineup, the prices will be astronomy-domine :)

Meanwhile, Live 8 organisers are in talks with internet auction site eBay to stop people selling tickets for a huge profit. Fans will not need tickets for the shows in Paris, Rome, Berlin and Philadelphia, but details of how to attend have not yet been released.
    Good !!

That by good fellow is what I am basing the rest of my time on this planet on!

I never thought PF would reform. They MUST be up to something other than Live8 :confused::confused:

Im not really bother with a new album (althought with Waters back in the mix it would be intresting) but a tour....

Im sick as a parrot winding meself up over this the last few days

    Sniff :(

well its a matter of taste but you cant compare barret era floyd to gilmore/waters era floyd. 2 different bands nearly.
for me this is the definative line up.

ITN news last night had a short feature including a chat with Nick Mason.Apparantly they will be performing 4 songs.

    Only 4 ?

I'd imagine sets are only around 30 minutes each... thats 4 songs for pink floyd anyway

True, but IMHO they shoud get a longer playing time, even headline it.
I mean a class band like that ??

Not going to happen though i know.

I really cant see them reforming for the first time in 25 odd years just to do 4 songs at Live8.

There must be something else brewing - a week a earls courts maybe in a few months??

    I live in hope
