    Hi

I need to travel to Australia in August, for a brief trip to see an unwell relation.

I can afford to take a week out to get there and back and thus want to pick the best airline to fly with on Economy.

Can anyone recommend an airline to go with?

Also I would like to take a trip with shortest number of stops (unless you recommend otherwise?)

    Any other recommendations welcome.

    Redman

give trailfinders a ring, they will be able to answer all those questions for you better than any of us could. I've flown with Qantas and Emirates. Both cost about the same price. Emirates were a better airline for me, but the flight had an extra stop. 4 for Emirates as oppossed to 3 for Qantas. That includes getting to London from Dublin

Just FYI: Local cheapo airlines include:

    VirginBlue : http://www.virginblue.com.au/
    JetStar (Quantas): http://www.jetstar.com.au/
