just did these with my GF

    simpsons rule
    volume formula's(cone, sphere etc)
    area formula's (rectangle, triangle etc)

thats all i can think of

They're all in the tables, so there's no need to know them. Just study them.

You only need to know the circle and line formulae I think. I'm not sure how in depth OL goes.

Learn all the line formulas. Looking over the papers it looks like you need most of them.

Ill find out tomorrow i suppose :(

Like the General said you'll need to know

    1) Simpsons Rule (In log tables)
    2) Volume formulas (In log tables)
    3) Area formulas (In log tables)
    4) Formula of a circle with centre (0,0) and (h,k)
    5) Distance, midpoint, equation, slope of a line

Yeah its for finding the roots/factors (I forget which) of an equation.

Don't forgt the key word: a QUADRATIC equation.

If it could solve all of the equations then we'd live in a much simpler time.

    Roots

But it's easy to derive the factors.

My calculator (which is allowed in the exam) does it for you. It also does cubics!

What type of calculator do you have?

It's a sharp one I bought in Eason.

I checked with the Examinations Commission by emailing them the model number. Fully legit for use in State Exams.

Also does 2x2 and 3x3 simultanenous eq., matrices, differneciation, integration, and has values such as the speed of light and the mass of an electron programmed in.
