just went into HMV and got the Band of Brothers boxset for 54.99 (well i got it for 49.99 with a student discount). Was trying to find it online and the cheapest i found was comiing it at around 60 euro on amazon.

CDWOW have a regular Armaray case of Band of brothers (only thing is its R2+4) for 20.49 GBP (approx 30 euro??) ...thats if your not in the market for the tin version!!

actually that's pretty good value...i looked at cdwow the other day and couldn't find it....it's not on the cdwow.ie site is it?

It doesnt come up immediately because its under multiregion seeing as its 2+4 (its an Australian release) ....I sold this during the week on boards for €20 because I got a good deal off ebay for the tin version!! You shoulda looked at the 'For sale - Discs' section!!!

Meant to say though that the digipack version packaing is alot nicer though than this with single Amaray.

tbh i couldn't find it on cdwow at all....must be blind. I only got it in HMV coz it was a cheaper than Amazon :rolleyes: Ah well, tis a present for me pop. Shouldn't complain

At least its not gonna be held up getting here before fathers day...cdwow have been a bit slow lately getting stuff thru the old postal system....poplular pressie this for fathers day so it seems!!!

I think there selling it in Tesco for quite a cheap price but i'm not exactly sure what price........must pop in and have a look!

Hate to say this, but I got the tin box set for €10 in HMV Grafton St sale last year... may have been a mis price, but there was loads of them!
I'd look around for a bit before paying 40 odd....

i only thought it was bargain coz for once HMV was less than Amazon and i couldn't find it for less on cdwow (d'oh) and play. TBH, it's the first thing i've bought in HMV in over a year
