is it possible to install windows xp on a 2nd pc without coming across too many hitches with the activation process?

i have xp on my main computer, with license key & cert. of authenticity, etc, but would like to install it on my 2nd computer that is currently running an unreliable windows ME.

No you are not allowed - Read the license

If its OEM windows you aren't even allowed to transfer it to another PC.
