    3000mAh * C (2 pack) Lidl did 2000mAh AA's a while back - same length if you could get a jacket

    1700mAh? * AA (4-pack)

    Ok english to the normal people capt.Havent a clue about any of it.I got a couple of packs today myself.

    It's the capacity of the batteries. The C and D cells aren't that big, but still better than the toxic NiCAD's.

    I've some old rechargable AAA's 180mAh , the new ones are 650mAh , so last nearly 3 times as long.

    If I ever find a mAh rating for Duracell I'll post it up, but AFAIK the AA,AAA and PP3's rechargables store more power than "ordinary zinc-carbon" batteries.

    Thanks mate, saw the offer earlier and was wondering about that. 1700mAh is decent enough and €2.99 for 4 of them is excellent value for money :)

    I went to Aldi Ballincollig especially to get the AAAs. Not a pack to be seen

    The Aldi in Clane, Co. Kildare had LOADS of them on Saturday. Didn't know about the offer beforehand, but helped myself anyway :)
